*Arabs hurled rocks at Jewish motorists during the night near Hussan. No injuries.

*A soldier was lightly wounded by shrapnel in a shootout with a terrorist at Yakir HaKatana Junction in Shomron. The terrorist was eliminated.

*Firebomb attacks near Qalqilye on Thursday night. No injuries.

*Rock attacks against motorists near Tekoa in eastern Gush Etzion.

*Shootout erupts at catered event at Kanot Junction near Ashdod on Thursday night. At least two people were injured, including a 14-year-old boy who sustained serious injuries.

*PA Prime Minister Salim Fayyad is calling on residents of Shechem to ignore an IDF order to close stores in a Shechem commercial center.

*DM Barak speaking at an event of the Druse community stated Israel is carefully monitoring events along the northern border.

*Labor MK Nadia Hilou, who visited Marwan Barghouti in prison, quoted the convicted terrorist as saying Gilad Shalit is in good condition, adding he will not be released for less than Israel’s release of 450 terrorists.
