Former American President Bill Clinton has offered to assist premier-designate Tzipi Livni in efforts towards reaching an agreement with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
In his letter sent to Livni following her recent victory in the party primary race, Mr. Clinton wrote, “Dear Tzipi. Congratulations on your victory. It is a major accomplishment. I am confident you will prove your worthiness to your party.
“I am following your efforts with admiration as you seek to advance talks with the PA towards arriving at a two-state solution towards ending the conflict. I wish you success in the coming days and weeks as you strive to assemble a coalition to enable you to continue the talks aimed at assuring the future security of the State of Israel.
“I am able and willing to assist you in any way possible in the coming years. I wish you the best of success. Your friend, Bill Clinton.” (Taken from the Hebrew so English text may vary somewhat).
