🚨WATCH: Netanyahu Says New Draft Bill Will Bring 17,000 Chareidim Into IDF Within Three Years

Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a newly aired interview that the IDF enlistment bill he is pushing will result in 17,000 Chareidi soldiers joining the IDF within the next three years.

“I expect the Chareidi public to join in, to give this a chance. I want the Rabbonim to show support,” Netanyahu said in an interview, urging Chareidi leaders to back the legislation when it comes to the Knesset.

For the past year, Chareidi political leadership has been fighting to pass a law that would largely maintain broad exemptions for full-time yeshiva students. Their push intensified after the High Court ruled that the decades-long system of blanket exemptions for Chareidi men was illegal.

  1. The translation on this video is WAAAAAY off. Netanyahu is speaking about the leftists and opposition leaders not about the haredim. He is saying that the left/opposition should support the law because it accomplishes what they are calling for. That the left/opposition should encourage the hareidi leadership/rabbis to support the law. Whomever did this translation is either a fool or a rasha.

  2. The translation is so misleading!!!

He is referring to the left for opposing it.. for political reasons.. and clearly not saying Hareidim…

  3. Just know, that either is impossible
1, for Israel not to draft bachurim
2, for them to study Torah in the army
There isn’t any person with a pure heart that can say God let me live only for your sake and help the life of a horse in that country, the only existence of that country is shmad on the neshomos, day and night and night and day, it is impossible that a serious person, that pray to do only what the God honor and stay as a Torah Jew there,
The fact that the stop wearing and looking charedim means that got the good souls
Cause worse are those that don’t stop looking like charedim and are at heart complete Zionist

  4. HE SAID:
אני מצפה שהקהילה החרדית תצטרף לזה
אני רוצה שהרבנים יאפשרו את התמיכה הזו

The translation is 100% accurate lol.

  5. The court isn’t going to let this they want everyone, 54,000 draft orders in one day with more coming. I don’t know why they think they’re going to settle for this but it’s a nice try

  6. Zionism is shmad, kefirah and A”Z, according to all gedolim. The Zionist army is the chief indoctrination tool of the Zionists to accomplish this shmad.

So, for the Zionists to shmad 17,000 chareidim in their army is a tragedy of epic proportions in and of itself, even without the further disastrous ripple effects thereafter. Shomu Shamayim!

And, yes, @besalel, that heretic did state on video that he hopes that the rabbis cooperate. Unbelievable.

Some gedolim also noted that there will come a time when it will not be possible to live as a (Torah-observant) Jew in E”Y under Zionist control. Looks like that time is closer than ever. And if the frum Jews do leave, then that “State” will be history before you can blink.

  7. HaKatan, you write: “Zionism is shmad, kefirah and A”Z, according to all gedolim.” Gedolai Yisroel like Rav Goren ztl and RAL ztl just to name two served in the IDF. If you do not recognize that you are an am Ha’aretz Gamur.

If hareidim all left for wherever, the State of Israel will prosper. Plenty of traditional orthodox Jews, who serve in the IDF, learn Torah and work would be left

  8. Background: The Hareidi parties put forward a Draft law which says people learning Torah are exempt from service but all other chareidis must serve. The left is very against this law. Many Hareidi rabbis are also against this law because it calls for the enlisment of Hareidim. The interviewer asks Netanyahu what his response is to the opposition from the left:

Netanyahu: With this law, I am going to be the first prime minister in Israel’s history to bring forward a law that enlists chareidim which will introduce 17,000 chareidim into service in the first three years (editor: those not learning). This is the law that the left decries and tries to stop?! The left complains, “what does this law accomplish? it does not accomplish the goal of recruiting the chareidim.” Are they nuts? We are talking about 17,000 chareidim which will be introduced into service as a result of this law. That is like a division plus, maybe a division and a half which will be introduced into service. At the end of the day, do you know how many divisions will no longer need to be filled with reserves as a result of the non-learning chareidim who will now enlist under this law? So the left, instead of joining in our effort and instead of asking the charedi public to back this law and instead of asking the charedi rabbis to support the law which after all, we all know, the rabbi’s support is vital to the passage of this law, they protest. Isn’t this law what the left wants? Is this not a law that will result in the conscription of thousands of charedim in a short period? How can anyone on the left object to such a law? But for political gain the left is prepared to oppose anything I do. The left always finds a reason to protest. I cannot even keep up with all their complaints. First they complained about the cost of living then when that was resolved the left began protesting that we did not do enough to protect the nation against Covid which was insane because we brought the vaccines in which did a better job protecting our citizens against covid than any other nation – then the left protested the judicial reform, then the left protested that we were not doing enough to free the hostages and now its a new complaint from the left that we did not set up an independent body to investigate October 7. The left wants to pass a Chareidi conscription law which only a third or less than half of the nation supports. I don’t want such a law which has so much opposition. I want a conscription law which the majority of the nation (including Charedim) support.

  9. DrShmad, the way the people you mentioned speak about Rav Lando and rav shternbuch as well as R Ovadia Yosef as if they’re the cancer of the earth is the reason Judaism would end if the charedim left. 35% of the “dati leumi” give up Shabbos forever after meeting all sorts of non-religious women and anti-religious men in the army, that statistic is acceptable to you but not us

  10. DrZionist:
“Gedolai Yisroel like Rav Goren ztl and RAL ztl just to name two served in the IDF.”
Unlike actual gedolim, the former was mattir mamzeirim – and Rav Ovadia Yosef and others condemned him. The latter was a “Religious Zionist”, son-in-law of the one “responsible for all the tuma in America” as per Rav Aharon Kotler – and Rav Aharon Feldman shlit”a pointed out to him how “Religious Zionism” is not compatible with Judaism, as all the prior gedolim pointed out.

In other words, no, those are obviously not gedolim, despite their erudition and intellect.

  11. Reading that whole transcript of Netanyahu I just don’t understand why after saying all that you still spend all your time trying to cater to the people who you just said make no sense and always complain no matter what you do for them, take a page from the Arabs at least they don’t have a leftist problem

  12. RebEmes, try backing up your nonsense with a refderence/quote from the gedolim I mentioned. Being called DrShmad by someone like you is meaningless, almost a badge of honor.

HaKatan, thank you for calling me a Zionist; I am honored. I advise you to travel to Boston to beg for mechillah from the RAV ZTL. BTW, Rav Schneur Kotler ztl attended the Rav’s shiur for 2 years on his father’s advice; obviously not acknowledged in your circles but pictures do not lie. I did not know that Rav Goren ztl was matir you to enter klal yisroel; I guess no one is perfect.
