Reports coming from Lebanon on motzei Shabbos indicate the IDF has stepped up security along the Lebanese border for reasons that are unknown at this time. Security has been increased along the Fatmah Crossing between N. Israel and S. Lebanon, in the area of el-Adisah.

Reports speak of armored vehicles and a large deployment of soldiers, soldiers in the brush area along the border, and the firing of illumination flares before sunrise Sunday morning.

The report adds that Lebanese and UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) forces are also engaged in “irregular activities” in villages along the Israeli border in southern Lebanon.
