Signers Admit They Were Misled As Baalei Batim Letter Threatening Torah Institutions Unravels

YWN was first to report that multiple signatures on a recent letter by Baalei Batim threatening Gedolim and Mosdos Hatorah with funding was riddled with dishonesty. Numerous people have since pulled their names from this Chillul Hashem.

Attached is another letter by a signer stating this fact.

  1. Is that proof enough or the deniers will still say nobody was misled. And yes it is a chilul hashem to get people to doubt rabbanim to boost your own ego

  2. With this and the recent ‘authentic’ rabbis letters from the WZO which was a fraud, we can safely disregard all Kol Korehs. They are worthless.

It’s worth our while to listen to our Rav directly for guidance and stop following every dumb click-bait poster that comes out.

Moreover, VERY many legitimate posters were released by someone with an agenda, and the details with the way you ask each Rabbi a question DOES impact the response and signature.

So please let’s close this subject and stop posting Kol Korehs

    Thanks

  3. I am not surprised at all! I myself was involved in something like this where 10 Rabonim where signed on a Kol Korah designating a particular food item from a heimishe manufacturer as not being kosher and it ended up being that the Rabonim where NOT asked for permission to put their name on the Kol Korah. It went as far as the Shoproner Rav Z”L (one of the signatories) publishing a declaration in Der Yid that his signature was forged on the Kol Korah.

  4. These misleadings could easily be avoided if they would just release a video of the rabbis saying it themselves. But then everyone will just say it’s AI

  5. I spoke with one of the organizers and this is not true. There were indeed some people who, due to a technical glitch, only received a link to the short version. But those peoples’ signatures did not appear on the long version. The only signatures that appear on the long version were those of people who saw it all. So if someone is denying that they signed the long version, and their name appears on the letter, they are not being honest.
