President Shimon Peres on Monday will continue meeting with heads of Knesset factions towards arriving at his decision, if he will empower another MK to attempt to form a coalition government during the next three weeks, or inform Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik that the national will hold elections.

In the meantime, Kadima Chairman MK Yoel Hasson on Monday, the first day of the Knesset winter session, will introduce a bill to dissolve the Knesset in the hope of bringing about elections in 90 days instead of 111 days, which would be the case if another MK is permitted to attempt to form a coalition government.

Addressing the opening session will be Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Knesset Speaker Itzik and opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu.
