The IDF spokesperson announced early Tuesday afternoon that “the Air Force intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle that was launched from the east” near Eilat.

“No alerts were activated according to protocol.”

The drone was likely fired by the Houthis, although this has not yet been confirmed by the IDF.

It is the first drone attack on Eilat since the US-Iran ceasefire began last month.
