While the rest of Israel is making routine preparations for Tuesday’s municipal Election Day, in Sderot and surrounding areas, the situation is somewhat more complicated.

Judging by the past days, one must assume Election Day will be accompanied by rocket attacks, prompting the IDF, Israel Police and other agencies to plan accordingly.

A large number of border policemen are being deployed along the border to prevent any infiltrations, and the IDF states other measures are being taken to protect the citizens and permit them to exercise their right to vote.
