*The Foreign Ministry has issued a travel advisory for Israelis to avoid Athens as violent rioting continues in that city.

*A 17-year-old was stabbed in a leg and lightly injured on Monday night while seated at the Pinati Restaurant on King George St. in Jerusalem. Police are investigating, stating the motive for the attack is unclear.

POLITICS, DOMESTIC & MORE:

*Ofir Pines: The fact that there is not a televised debate between candidates for prime minister in Israel is a disgrace and an insult to the public’s intelligence.

*At this time, no decision has been made regarding who will fill the single UTJ deputy Jerusalem mayoral slot. The different factions have not reached an agreement.

*Mas Hachnasa, Israel’s Internal Revenue Service offices will strike on Tuesday for a second day as a workers’ wage dispute continues. Negotiations reportedly hit a dead end on Monday.
