According to the Egyptian al-Hayat newspaper, senior Defense Ministry official Amos Gilad is traveling to Egypt once again today, Tuesday, to continue talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

The talks will address a number of related issues, including the current fragile ceasefire, demands that Israel open all Gaza crossings and end the embargo on Gaza, and Hamas demands for a total and immediate IDF troop withdrawal from Gaza.

According to the Egyptian report, Hamas officials will be meeting with the Egyptian leader as well, later in the week.
