4:45PM IL: The IDF Homefront Command is reconnecting all communities within a 40km (24 miles) range of Gaza to the early warning system following Tuesday’s rocket attack into the Eshkol region preceded by a fatal bomb attack against soldiers near the Kissufim area of the Gaza border.

PA (Palestinian Authority) sources report the IAF is striking terrorist targets and Arab media reports at least two dead.

In the meantime, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, who is holding high-level consultations, has signaled Israel will responded to the day’s attacks stating Hamas’ actions attacks will not be permitted to pass without an appropriate response.
