The controversial Body Worlds exhibition opened in Haifa�s National Museum of Science causing a stir among many of the city�s residents, including the chareidi population. The display exhibits 20 human bodies that were preserved by a special process, now making up the exhibit which travels the world.

Zaka director Yehuda Meshi-Zahav arrived in Haifa for opening day of the exhibit on Monday, expressing disgust over what he labeled �business with dead bodies,� a potent statement coming from the leader of an organization dedicated to respecting human remains. �I do not understand the connection between medical advancement and bodies posed as they are playing chess� he stated.

Haifa Councilman Rav Aryeh Blitental stated he is doing everything he can to have the exhibit removed.
