Opposition MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz, known as Ketzaleh, did not mince words in his latest criticism of Likud. Known as an “Ish Eretz Yisrael” who crosses all camps, Katz has worked tirelessly during the past decades to build communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron, as frequent as visitor to chassidic courts as he is among roshei yeshiva and at a meeting of the Settlement Council.
On erev shabbos, Katz lashed out against Likud MKs who worked to persuade right-wing voters to cast their vote for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who has betrayed the voters and Eretz Yisrael. He labeled Likud as “unkosher as pig” in his scathing remarks, stating once again, the prime minister has betrayed voters who believed he would stand tall to defend Eretz Yisrael. He decried the current building freeze while young couples are unable to find housing solutions, condemning the policies of the current ‘right-wing’ administration.

If there is one thing we all should have learned from the chilul HaSh-m of the Gush Katif expulsion, it is that no politician in Israel can be trusted with Eretz Yisrael, NO MATTER HOW “HAWKISH” OR “RIGHT-WING” THEY MAY SEEM TO BE, IF THEY ARE NOT SINCERE, STRONG MA’AMINIM BA’SH-M!
