Clemency for Disengagement Opponents

The Ministerial Legislation Committee on Sunday voted in favor of a bill intended to grant clemency to the opponents of the 2005 Disengagement Plan, an approval that was postponed towards the last days of the previous government.

Minister (HaBayit HaYehudi) Rabbi Dr. Daniel Hershkowitz explained that this does not mean there will be an across-the-board clemency, but a limited clemency in certain cases, calling the committee decision a welcome step in the right direction.

  1. What an uPsIdE-dOwN cHeLm world Israel has become! The question should not be whether expulsion opponents should get clemency, the question is should those who implemented the expulsion get clemency? And the answer to that is a resounding NO!!!
