Gilad Sharon, son of former PM Ariel Sharon attacked the Goldberg judicial committee for their findings regarding the Arab land grab in the Negev, which is severely depleting Israel’s land reserve and effectively stealing hundreds of thousands of dunams in Southern Israel.

Sharon starts his blistering attack, “For 18 months an honorable committee headed by a retired judge did extensive work and reached conclusions that are completely flawed. Everything is backward. It seems to be an issue of decorum and manners. Can we say to his honor – thanks for your intense efforts, however, we reject your findings. It is not comfortable; after all he is a judge. Unfortunately, in this case we have no other choice.” (In reference to Goldberg’s recommendations to Arabize and launder the Jewish lands recently occupied by Arab squatters).
 
Sharon concluded his opinion piece, “It is hard to believe that for the religious Jewish town with plans to bring 45000 residents (more than all of the so called displaced Bedouins) at the Tel-Arad Junction the state can’t find 4500 dunam, yet the state is prepared to surrender 500,000 dunam for no reason and with no justification.
