barak11.jpgDefense Minister Ehud Barak is once again working to portray himself as the man of peace, seeking to advance diplomatic talks on a number of fronts, including the PA (Palestinian Authority), Lebanon and Syria.

The defense minister explained on Sunday that Israel faces many challenges, and this must compel the state to forge ahead in the hope of achieving peace with her neighbors towards eliminating a number of the current threats.

  1. so you should negotiate with your friends????

I doubt any Israeli politician would hang up the phone if the Muslims called. There’s no hiddush here, just posturing.

  2. this is one of the differances between america and israel . in america if something like this was done that person would be kicked out of her or his position.
in israel you can do whatever you want and get away with it.

  3. In the constant recycling and reshuffling of Israeli politians to different offices, isn’t it Barak’s turn to be Dog Catcher.
