According to Arab media reports, the decision by Israel to compel Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon issue an apology to Turkey is major media, reporting how Turkey �restored Islamic honor� by putting �Israeli chutzpa in its place�.

Ayalon agreed to issue the apology following the intervention of President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, who urged him to reconsider his position, refusing to add to his �clarification� that he released earlier.
