Police and ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) agents raided the yeshiva high school in the Shomron community of Yishuv Yitzhar at about 4:00am Monday morning. They also raided the Ohd Yosef Chai Yeshiva in the same community. According to reports from the community, dozens of masked security forces took part in the raid, taking photographs and gathering documents and information. Authorities report recovering spikes used to flatten tires and other “makeshift weapons”.
Authorities report that the raid was in connection to the ongoing investigation into the arson attack against a Yusuf mosque last year. Arrested as a suspect in the attack was a grandson of the late Rabbi Meir Kahane HY”D who was released a short time following his arrest.
A total of ten arrests were made, 5 said to be related to the arson attack and 5 connected to others cases involving violence against Arabs and police. At least three of the suspects are adults, affiliated with Ohd Yosef Chai. This includes Shlomo Gilbart (20), Tzvi Sukkot (20), and Eliran Elgali (20). The other suspects appear to be minors.
School and Yitzhar officials declined comment as did Shomron Regional Council leader Gershon Mesika. It appears the suspects were taken to a Shin Bet station for questioning in the various cases resulting from the allegations against them.
Among the forces taking part in the raid was Shai (Shomron-Yehuda) District Commander Albert Ochaiyon, who refused to show search warrants or any documents justifying the action when asked to do so by adults in charge.
According to statements from those present, one of those arrested collapsed during the raid, but police refused to permit medical personnel to check his condition.

So the KGB, I mean the ShinBet, is making middle of the night raids again! WHAT nonsense! Do they seriously think (EVEN IF someone from there had what to do with it) they are going to find something related to this arson attack A MONTH LATER, IN THE YESHIVA!!!
AND — even if they thought so, couldn’t they have come during the day, instead of the middle of the night?!?!
This is clearly done ONLY to intimidate the boys of the yeshiva!

Thats funny, I didn’t even know they needed search warrants in Israel, based on the fact that one never seems to be employed in a search. So either YWN is incorrect, or they have privacy laws but no police oversight whatsoever. Medina Mishtara.
these cops r a bunch of animals imagine gettin woken up in a place surrounded by arabs always on the watch from them and tons of guys masked with guns drawn to ur head (and these guys were teens). also i wish these cops would investigate the murder of innocent israeli blood as well as they do for burning some arson attack
