Another Seashore Bomb Detected Today, Wednesday

3:04PM IL: Only days after bombs washed ashore along beaches in the Ashdod and Ashkelon areas, it appears threats released by Gaza-based terrorists are legitimate.

Authorities on Wednesday afternoon were sent to Tzuk Beach in the Palmachim area, only to find additional explosive devices. Once again, police received reports of a ‘suspicious barrel washed ashore’ which proved to be yet another bomb. Terrorists earlier in the week stated there were eight. To date, three have been washed ashore and neutralized without incident.

Police have been extremely busy, receiving calls to the Herzliya and other beaches as plastic bottles and other items wash ashore, prompting concerned citizens to phone.

As the Israel Navy and other agencies remain on alert against additional bombs along Israel’s shore, the IAF during the night bombed terrorist targets in Gaza, with Hamas sources reporting a number of injured and missing. The air force targeted objectives in the southern Gaza area.

In the meantime, a terrorist source in Gaza released messages on Tuesday that seashore bombs are also in the Herzliya and Tel Aviv beach areas. Authorities are taking all threats seriously and appropriate measures have been implemented in the hope of locating additional devices which may still be along the shoreline.
