Thousands of Beis Yaakov students in Eretz Yisrael and around the world on Wednesday at noon joined the worldwide tefilla effort (http://www.theyeshivaworld.com/article.php?p=48959) endorsed by Gedolei Yisrael Shlita. Among the tefillos and tehillim recited were prakim 130, 142, & 83 of tehillim, at noon, with children joining in around the globe.

Among the gedolim who endorsed the effort, dedicated to the difficult times befalling Am Yisrael and for a refuah shleima for Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel] Eliyahu Shlita were Maran HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita, Maran HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevi Wosner Shlita, and Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita.
