Authorities report on Monday morning that a security guard at Beit Yehonatan in the eastern capital was lightly wounded by gunfire in a foot in a Sunday night attack. It appears he was injured by shrapnel. He was transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

A lone gunman fired at the security jeep patrolling the area. Investigators report six shots were fired. The attacker seems to have fled on foot.
