Kfir Brigade Sgt. Binyamin Carmel was cleared of charges of assaulting Arabs. Four other soldiers in the case who admitted to their actions were convicted and demoted in rank.

Defense attorney Shlomi Tzipori expressed harsh criticism regarding the fashion in which military police conducted themselves during the investigation, leveling harsh allegations pertaining to their lack of professionalism and lack of effort to arrive at the truth in the case.
