The Jerusalem District Court on Sunday ordered American citizen Yaakov Teital, dubbed “The Jewish terrorist” to undergo psychiatric evaluation. Teital stands accused of two murders as well as counts of attempted murder.

The court set a date of May 17th to hear the results of the evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.

Teital has already been evaluated in Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he was classified as psychotic, but the court complied with a state request that he undergo an evaluation by Ministry of Health psychiatric officials.
