Report: Graves at Ashkelon Hospital Not Jews

According to Israel Archeological Association southern district chief archeologist, Dr. Dov Nachlieli, the disputed bones at the proposed site of the new fortified wing of Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon are not those of Jews, dating back many many years.

When questioned during a Kol Chai Radio if he is absolutely certain regarding his statement, the senior archeologist admitted he is not, but stressed in all likelihood, he is correct.

Speaking with Asra Kadisha officials, the organization adds to its defense that in actuality, there is a solution, one deemed acceptable to the IDF, building the new fortified wing above ground, a move that would permit using the current venue without disturbing the graves but hospital officials remain insistent that the building be underground.
