There are no reports of injuries but police report there were seven arson attacks in Cholon during the night involving garbage receptacles resulting in many people being evacuated from their homes.

A number of the fires were started near apartment buildings on Migdal, Frug and Choma Streets beginning at about 1:00am. After the trash receptacles were set ablaze, they were pushed into the lobbies of the buildings.

Fire marshals and police are investigating.
