An US federal court has rejected a lawsuit charging Public Security Minister Avi Dichter with war crimes. Relatives of Arabs brought the suit following his decision to bomb Hamas leader Saleh Shehada, but the strike also killed 14 Palestinian civilians. In a ruling issued at US District Court in Manhattan, Judge William Pauley found Dichter could not be sued because he was acting as a government official at the time.
