Israeli Media Does Not Report Airplane Incident

Transaero.jpgOn Tuesday, a plane Russian airplane belonging to Transaero Airlines could not leave Tel-Aviv after one of the plane’s wings were damaged by the staff of Ben Gurion Airport. Apparently an auto-loader belonging to the airport hit one of the Boeing 737’s wings and caused a serious scratch 30-centimeter dent on the edge line of the wing.

The Israeli airport estimated that it would take 10 hours to repair the damaged wing. All 101 passengers of the plane were accommodated in a Tel-Aviv hotel and provided with hot meals.

According to Transaero director-general, no fault of the air company took place in the accident; therefore, it must be Ben Gurion Airport to compensate all financial losses.

It is to note that the Israeli Hebrew-speaking media did not report about the accident.

  1. It was not reported because the Israeli media is extremely embarrassed about it and does not want to anger the Russians who they have been very much wanting to develop better relations with over the past year.

  2. Why is this noteworthy? Does the media tell you about
1.the security damage done by the Gaza disengagement.
    2. The lack of busing for children wanting to go to Chinuch Atzmai schools
    3. How Olmert is giving up the entire country to bolster the ‘poor wretched Abbas’
    4. that Peace Now lies through its teeth fabricating Arab land deals
    5. That long range rockets have been smuggled in through Gaza and are ready to cause damage to Ashkelon and Ashdod
    6. that the govt supports Israeli farmers during Shmittah from its own coffeers (not enough?)
Why is this any more news worthy?
