A next-gen supersonic jet that could cut flight time from New York to Israel in half just hit a major milestone. The X-59, known as the “son of Concorde,” completed its first low-speed taxi test in California, bringing NASA one step closer to making quiet, ultra-fast air travel a reality. A full flight test is expected later this year.
