Against the backdrop of the looming IDF draft decree threatening the Yeshiva world, HaGaon HaRav Moshe Hillel Hirsch responded to a question from avreichim on how to explain the essence of the Torah world to secular Jews. The Rosh Yeshiva ruled firmly: “Spirituality is a part even more important than the army.”
