💔 HY’D: The IDF on Sunday released the names of two soldiers who were killed in combat in Gaza — Major Yaniv Kula, 26, and Staff Sergeant Itay Yavetz, 21, both residents of Modiin and members of the Nahal Brigade’s 932nd Battalion. According to the army’s initial findings, the soldiers were killed when a group of Hamas terrorists emerged from a tunnel and fired RPGs at an IDF excavator operating in the area. Moments later, a second excavator came under sniper fire, injuring two additional soldiers, one of them seriously. Shortly after, another soldier was also wounded by sniper fire, the IDF said.
