North Korea says it has tested a new hypersonic system designed to strengthen its nuclear deterrent. The tests came just days before U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinas Xi Jinping are set to meet in South Korea. Seouls military said multiple missiles were fired from near Pyongyang, flying about 350 km before landing on land. The tests mark North Koreas first since South Koreas new president, Lee Jae Myung, took office, pledging peace an offer Kim Jong Un has so far rejected.
