A public menorah in Chernihiv, Ukraine, was vandalized on Monday, after being installed following coordination with local authorities.

The menorah was knocked over and an antisemitic note was left at the scene.

Public Chanukah candle-lighting ceremonies had been held throughout Chanukah under security, and Jewish community leaders are in contact with authorities following the incident.
