NOW: Members of the Peleg Yerushalmi are demonstrating on Route 4 near Bnei Brak, causing severe traffic congestion throughout the area. Large police forces are on the scene working to restore order and redirect drivers to alternate routes.

Route 4 has been completely closed to traffic in both directions from the Aluf Sadeh Interchange to the Em HaMoshavos Interchange. In addition, traffic traveling southbound from Em HaMoshavos is being diverted toward Petach Tikva. Jabotinsky Street in Bnei Brak has also been closed in the direction of Petach Tikva.
