FBI to Close Hoover Building Permanently, Staff Moving to Reagan Building

FBI Director Kash Patel says the J. Edgar Hoover headquarters in D.C. will be “shut down permanently,” with employees moving to the Ronald Reagan Building instead of a new Maryland campus.

Maryland officials have sued the Trump administration, alleging $555 million in funding meant for the Maryland project was wrongly diverted after Congress had already approved the move.
