Two Jordanians Arrested Trying to Smuggle 12M Shekels to Terrorist Groups

Two Palestinians holding Jordanian citizenship were arrested while attempting to transfer 12 million shekels in cash to terrorist groups in Judea and Samaria.

* The suspects were detained at the Allenby Crossing as they entered Israel from Jordan, following prior intelligence.

* A search of their suitcases uncovered 12 million shekels, including Israeli and foreign banknotes, which were seized.

* The operation involved IDF Central Command intelligence, Border Police, a unit from the Jordan Valley Brigade, and customs officials.

* A court extended the suspects’ detention pending the filing of indictments.
