DEEPLY DISTURBING: First responders arriving at the scene in Yerushalyim described finding infants sleeping inside closets, in hallways, and in bathrooms. According to their accounts, dozens of children were packed into a small apartment, sleeping on top of one another inside closets and next to a toilet in the bathroom. They further said that an air conditioner was operating on extremely high heat, creating dangerously dry conditions that posed a serious risk to life.
Police are questioning three people working at the nursery.
