IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, along with senior officers and IDF troops, were seen today saluting the body of Master Sgt. Ran Gvili HY’D, after it was located in eastern Gaza City.

The forces stood at attention as they sang “Hatikvah,” Israel’s national anthem, honoring the fallen soldier upon the return of his remains.
