UPDATE: The FAA lifted the temporary airspace closure over El Paso on Wednesday morning, reversing a decision issued only hours earlier that had halted flights for 10 days.
The restriction, which took effect late Tuesday night, had suspended all commercial, cargo, and general aviation traffic to and from El Paso International Airport.
According to reports, the brief shutdown was tied to a test of counter-drone technology conducted by the military at nearby Fort Bliss.
