DOJ Antitrust Chief Gail Slater Stepping Down

•⁠ ⁠Gail Slater said Thursday she is stepping down less than a year after being confirmed to lead the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division.

•⁠ ⁠Slater, confirmed in March, described the position as “the honor of a lifetime,” saying she was leaving “with great sadness and abiding hope”.

•⁠ ⁠During her tenure, the division continued major antitrust actions, including high-profile cases involving large technology companies.
