The IDF foiled two separate drone-based weapons smuggling attempts along the Egypt border. In one incident, troops monitoring border surveillance systems identified a drone crossing into Israeli airspace and downed it. The drone was found to be carrying three assault rifles.

In a separate operation, soldiers from the Paran Regional Brigade located a previously downed drone during scans of the frontier area. According to the IDF, the aircraft was transporting 10 handguns and 30 magazines.
