Israel’s Airports Authority is preparing for a sharp increase in passenger traffic this summer and has announced the reopening of Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion Airport, according to a report first published by N12.
Domestic flights from Terminal 1 are set to resume on June 28, 2026. International operations will follow on July 1, restoring full activity at the terminal after an extended period of limited use.
The Airports Authority is urging travelers to verify in advance which terminal their flight will depart from and to monitor updates from airlines and official airport channels to avoid delays and stay informed of any schedule changes.
