Israel reprimanded a senior Spanish diplomat after an effigy of PM Netanyahu was burned in Spain in what officials called an antisemitic display.
The Foreign Ministry said the incident is a direct result of Spain’s “systematic incitement” against Israel and slammed Madrid for failing to condemn it.
Officials said the display is part of Spain’s hostile policy since Oct. 7, accusing the Sánchez government of promoting false allegations against Israel and the IDF and pushing sanctions in the EU.
