๐Ÿšจ U.S.โ€“Iran Talks Stall as Donald Trump Cancels Meeting, Masoud Pezeshkian Urges Unity Amid Tensions

๐Ÿšจ U.S.-Iran peace efforts stalled after President Trump canceled planned talks in Pakistan, saying too much time was being wasted on travel and that if Iran wants to talk, โ€œall they have to do is call.โ€ He also said there was confusion among Iranโ€™s leadership over who is in charge.

Iran responded that diplomacy is still possible, but only with โ€œshared understandingโ€ and the right conditions for meaningful dialogue. Iranian officials said pressure, military activity, and hostile measures are undermining trust.

Iran also made clear it will not give up domestic uranium enrichment, saying peaceful nuclear energy remains its right.

Inside Iran, President Masoud Pezeshkian urged citizens to reduce electricity and energy consumption, while some international flights resumed from Tehran.
