DRAMATIC VIDEO: A plane struck a bakery truck traveling northbound on the New Jersey Turnpike on Sunday around 1:50 p.m. EST. The truck, carrying products from Schmidt Bakery, was headed toward Newark when the incident occurred as it exited onto the turnpike.

Officials said the aircraft was preparing to land in Newark at the time. The plane’s wheel reportedly hit the driver’s window, while the trailer was undamaged. The truck driver suffered minor cuts and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
