IRAN RESPONDS: Iran announced that it has formally responded to the latest U.S. proposal aimed at ending the war, according to the country’s state-run media.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran’s response to the latest proposed U.S. draft aimed at ending the war was delivered today through a Pakistani mediator,” Iran’s IRNA news agency reported.

Iran did not release details regarding the contents of its response, but said that under the current framework, negotiations are now centered on “ending the war in the region.”

Neither the White House nor U.S. officials have yet publicly commented on Iran’s response.
