President Trump returned from China without a breakthrough on the Iran issue, as frustration inside the administration reportedly continues to grow amid stalled talks with Tehran, according to a CNN report.

Officials said the White House wanted to evaluate the outcome of Trump’s discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping before determining its next course of action on Iran.

While Trump has continued to publicly emphasize a diplomatic path, he is now also considering whether further military action could be required to increase pressure on the Iranian regime.
