PLOT TWIST: An officer from Israel’s elite Lahav 433 unit, the same unit involved in investigating alleged Iranian espionage cases, is now himself under investigation on suspicion of contact with an Iranian agent.

•⁠ ⁠The investigation reportedly began following intelligence information received from within Lahav 433’s Barak division.

•⁠ ⁠The officer was later released to house arrest under restrictive conditions while the investigation continues.
