Flatbush Shomrim Coordinator Tzvi Weill spoke Thursday at Brooklyn Borough Hall during a press conference on the growing SNAP theft crisis. Speaking on behalf of Shomrim organizations across Brooklyn, Weill highlighted the surge in reports from residents whose EBT benefits were stolen through skimming and fraud, often leaving families without food assistance. He thanked Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso for bringing attention to the issue and pushing for stronger protections for SNAP recipients.
