President Trump reveals that a secret U.S. military mission launched last month to support oil tankers and commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has resulted in more than 100 million barrels of oil reaching global markets.

Trump says that more than 200 commercial ships have safely transited the waterway during the operation, calling it a “wildly successful effort.”

He added that the success demonstrates that the United States not Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, and claims Iran’s military has been defeated and its economy is collapsing.
