U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirms that American forces began conducting additional self-defense strikes against multiple targets in Iran at 5:15 p.m. ET. CENTCOM said the strikes were launched at President Trump’s direction and were carried out in response to what it described as Iran’s “unwarranted and continued aggression.”
